This week we have been continuing with the editing of our video by fine cutting the clips we have chosen and trying to get them into a final sequence, we have realised that we need to make sure that the cuts between the clips are in sync with the song and that lip syncing is as sharp as we can get it to be in order to make the video have a professional quality about it. We have also been editing photo's which we will be using for our ancillary tasks, we needed to select photo's from the photo-shoot that would look most effective when promoting our artist in the public eye.

Album Panels
Sticking to our brand image, we want our 4 album panels to be really well composed so that the images are eye catching and visually appealing. We want them to push the boundaries and break the conventions of 'typical' panels. I have researched music artist Rihanna and her album panels...
Her photography for the panels are lit really well, the neutral tones are really effective in contrast with her hair and create a sexy look about the photos. We want our artist to be wearing minimal clothing to show a sexy feel, and neutral colours with a key piece of clothing to enhance the photo. One close up shot of the artist looking directly at the camera will show contact with the audience and make them feel as if they are connecting with the artist.

Progress Week 2
This week we have been rough cutting our clips and selecting the bits we want to use for our music video, we have found that some bits didn't work as well as we hoped and now we are thinking about re-shooting some bits that didn't work that well.
Moving on to our ancillary task we have been researching into album covers and magazine ads, we have found some good ideas and next week we will be taking the photos for these next week.
